Connecting Companies House
Complyax utilizes the Companies House API to dramatically speed up client onboarding. By linking this API, Complyax can automatically prefill client profiles, pull their company registration numbers, and synchronize statutory filing deadlines directly onto your Compliance Calendar.
How to Connect
- Navigate to the Connected Systems (or Integrations) page.
- Under the Companies House module, click Connect.
- You will be prompted to enter your Companies House API Key. (If you do not have one, you can generate it for free via the Companies House Developer Hub).
- Enter the key and click Save.
What happens after connection?
Once active:
- When you add a new client in the Clients Database, simply type their company name or registration number, and Complyax will auto-complete their registered address and entity type.
- Your Compliance Calendar will automatically begin pulling in their Confirmation Statement and Annual Accounts filing deadlines, ensuring you never miss a statutory date.
